ActivitiesThis is a featured page

At the current time these are the known activities within Meet-me

  • Fishing in a pond
  • Fishing contest from a boat

To fish, first of all the fishing rod (given free when character is created) needs to be equipped. To do this, click on the green briefcase icon, then on the clothing icon.
When the item box opens, click on the fishing rod and it is equipped, in the same way clothing is put on.

While the fishing rod is equipped, a fishing icon appears on the right hand side of the screen. When next to water (either a pond, or when fishing from a boat) click the fishing icon to start fishing.

To cast the line, move the mouse quickly backwards then forwards. A 3D view of the hook underwater will appear and the hook will start to sink, slowly at first but quickly gaining speed.
To slowly reel in the line and pull the hook upwards, press the left hand mouse button. This movement will often attract the attention of fish.

When a fish bites on the hook, move the mouse very quickly forwards or backwards (the same sort of motion that is used to cast the line).
If the fish is caught, then a comment regarding this will appear (such as "GET!" or "HIT") and the line will automatically be reeled in.
The fish size and type of fish will then be displayed. If fishing from a boat, the player will receive a time bonus and "rank points".

To fish from a boat, go to a harbour and click on the NPC at the gates. Multiple people can board a single boat and fish at the same time. The departure time of the boat will be shown, and players may have to wait a few minutes. Once out in the water, an initial time of 10 minutes is given in which to fish.
The harbour is at the train station "takeshiba" (竹芝).
The deeper your line goes, the bigger fish you can catch.

As of yet, it is unknown what the rank points do and they do not show up on the status menu.
